Estimating

Our estimating team delivers proposals for work to be performed by using various methods. Estimators will take phone inquiries, online inquires, site visits, and search for upcoming construction projects. Many construction projects are budgeted or bid using project specific plan sets and specifications by creating take-offs and estimating cost associated with production. During this process, the estimating department is able to provide design and code related assistance. We are also consistently searching for opportunities to value engineer proposed items. We strive to make sure our client is receiving the most optimal product in the most economical fashion. It is important that our proposals are delivered with quick turn-around times.

Project Management, Detailing, & Engineering

After a bid is awarded, the new project is assigned to a project manager whom is in charge of bringing the items to life in an economical fashion. Generally, that process involves understanding the scope of work, field measuring, detailing/creating shop drawings, ordering material, overseeing production, logistically organizing on site installation, and finalizing project documents.  Project managers utilize the latest drafting software including AutoCAD and Autodesk Advance Steel 3D Modeling. 

Fabricating

Our 49,000 square foot facility allows us the capacity to handle large scale, long-term projects. Badger Railing employs 30-40 shop personnel that have experience and vast abilities to work all metals including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, and copper. Cutting edge technology, like our Python X robotic CNC plasma cutting system, keeps us ahead of our competitors.  Various shapes and sizes can be cut, rolled, welded, formed, bent, drilled, and milled in our shop. Perhaps most importantly, we take pride in our quality. Quality control personnel assess each product periodically throughout the fabrication process and once more before leaving our shop.
